I established Venn There Grants Consulting in May 2019 to help grant seekers create or refresh their grant system. A grant system includes not only grant writing, but alignment to program design and grants management.

I have spent my professional career as a grantmaker, grant writer, and program manager in arts & culture, healthcare, and education for over 25 years. I have extensive experience and knowledge to coach individuals to think strategically, write compassionately, and work intentionally to achieve success in grants.

I joined Venn There Grants Consulting in October 2021 as a grant professional with over 10 years of experience. I enjoy building strong relationships with my clients to better understand their programs to craft winning proposals that will deliver the impact as proposed.

Previously, I managed all aspects of grants for an environmental organization for four years and an arts and cultural organization for five years. I am expanding my areas of focus to include health and human services, education and social enterprise nonprofit organizations.

Previously, I was a case manager for a health and human service organization where I mastered organizational skills, strategic decisions and actions, and time management skills. My grant writing areas of focus are health and human services, career development, and arts and culture.

I have over 10 years of entrepreneurial nonprofit experience. Over this time, I have written and won countless grants. I am uniquely skilled at creating nontraditional revenue sources for nonprofits in addition to grants. In July 2023, I joined Venn There Grants Consulting to support nonprofits through grant writing, management, and diversification of revenue.

I have extensive experience in writing, education, and the arts. I am the coordinator for Palm Beach Atlantic University's Writing Central, where I train and manage a team of peer writing coaches. I was formerly the Artistic Director of the Girl Choir of South Florida. I hold a Masters degree in English Literature and a BA in Music Education.

I enjoy applying my experiences to grant writing, particularly with projects that demand attention to detail, a mastery of language, and a deep understanding of nonprofit nuances.
